CArmina burana
This eclectic staged version of Carl Orff's operatic classic Carmina Burana for Anglia Ruskin University brought together worm babies, mud, hot pants, Mexican wrestling showgirls on stilts and much, much more besides.
I worked together with director Simon Bell and production designer John Clarke to produce a style that harnessed the idea of "overspilling with life" - a fitting look for a production that handles the often violent and erratic circle of life.
In term of costume this was a challenging project which involved managing a wardrobe for a cast of approximately 50, as well as anticipating mud baths, silly string and errant chocolate sauce!
